The most versatile Rainscreen® system available.

From glass to masonry to render, from 66 colors to a range of texture options, from AAMA to NFPA, the StoVentec® Rainscreen® system has you covered.

StoVentec®Glass: Smooth, reflective, brilliant

StoVentec Glass is a ventilated Rainscreen wall system consisting of durable, opaque glass-faced panels, thermal insulation, sub-construction, and a continuous air and water-resistive barrier. Cladding panels faced with back-painted or digitally-printed glass are available in a wide range of sizes and in 66 standard colors.

System Components:

  1. StoGuard® air and water-resistive barrier – Featuring Sto AirSeal® the StoGuard® system provides seamless and fully integrated air and moisture control.
  2. Thermal Insulation – Owens Corning Thermafiber® RainBarrier® 45 mineral wool made of non-combustible fiber. Variable thicknesses can accommodate for design thermal requirements.
  3. StoVentro™ Sub-Construction – An engineered system consisting of StoVentro Brackets with vertical and horizontal StoVentro T-Profiles to provide the structural link between the facade and supporting wall construction.
  4. StoVentro™ Agraffe Profiles – Part of the StoVentro sub-construction system, StoVentro Agraffe Profiles allow for quick and simple onsite installation of glass panels.
  5. StoVentec® Glass Panel – A composite panel with opaque glass fully bonded to StoVentec Carrier Board A+; a backing board made of 96% recycled glass.

StoVentec for masonry veneer facades: Classic looks with advanced performance

With StoVentec for masonry veneer facades drained and back-ventilated Rainscreen wall system, you achieve the classic look of masonry far faster and easier; at just a fraction of the weight; and with the advanced air, thermal, and moisture control you expect from StoVentec wall systems. StoVentec for masonry veneer facades can be used with any thin brick in conformance with applicable building code requirements.

System Components:

  1. Sto AirSeal® air and water-resistive barrier – A fluid-applied, vapor-permeable AWRB designed for use on most substrates, Sto AirSeal features a 500% elongation capacity, meets requirements of ASTM C1305, and offers building code compliance confirmed by ICC-ESR 1233.
  2. Thermal Insulation – Owens Corning Thermafiber® Rainbarrier® 45 mineral wool provides continuous insulation with exceptional thermal performance, fire resistance, acoustical control, and water-resistive.
  3. StoVentro Sub-construction – A highly intuitive engineered system of adjustable wall brackets and T- and L-profiles, StoVentro Sub-construction installs easily and accommodates substrate imperfections.
  4. StoVentec Carrier Board A+ – The blank canvas on which a broad variety of masonry veneers find expression, remarkably strong, durable and resilient StoVentec Carrier Board A+ is made from 96% recycled glass.
  5. Masonry Veneer – Your choice of thin brick is in conformance with applicable building code requirements. StoColl polymer modified portland cement adhesive mortar, compliant with ANSI 118.4, is used for adhering the masonry veneer units over a reinforced basecoat.

Finally, complete Rainscreen systems sourced from and backed by a single manufacturer.

Throughout Europe and the UK, our StoVentec® Rainscreen® systems have been used and known for nearly two decades for their superior performance, single-source manufacturing, and rich palette of design possibilities. Now, savvy architects, designers, cladding installers, and developers in the USA are discovering these versatile systems.

What they all appreciate is how StoVentec works out all of the details, rather than leaving them to sort through a hodge-podge of wall components like cladding, sub-framing, insulation, air and water barrier, etc. Instead, architects, owners, and contractors get an entire, fully-tested, and code-approved high-performance ventilated Rainscreen system. This includes a best-in-class air and water barrier, robust mineral wool continuous insulation, the most installer-friendly, adjustable sub-framing system available, and – of course – amazing StoVentec Rainscreen cladding.

Best of all, every system is backed with a 10-year warranty by Sto, manufacturer of StoVentec Original Rainscreen Systems. Our local technical specialists are ready to help you create a lasting, high-performance, work of art in cladding.
